Job Description:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Clean kitchen and work area
• May drive to other locations for requisition of food if needed

Requirements:

- Education: Some secondary school is required.

- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required

- Having a driver’s license is a strong asset.

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 hourly, 35 – 48 hours per week.

Benefits: Gratuities and two meals per shift. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Accommodation provided at a cost.

Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. Workers will work either 5 or 6 days per week depending on the business needs. Workers will rotate between the day shift (from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and the evening shift (from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM). We are open 7 days a week, so the schedule will change on a weekly basis. Work on holidays and weekends is required. Overtime will be required depending on the business needs.
