Job Description:

Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse

Perform various routine maintenance jobs, such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn parts

Clean building exteriors, tanks and industrial equipment using sandblasting, pressurized steam or hydroblasting equipment.

Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and company safety procedures

Select and utilize appropriate nozzles, pressures, and techniques for different tasks

Ensure efficient use of water and cleaning solutions

Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage

Steam cleaning

Surface preparation using high pressure water

Secure work areas and control access to prevent unauthorized entry

May clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

May drive to different worksites across ON.

Requirements:

Education: Not required

Experience: At least 7 months of cleaning experience in industrial environments is required.

Experience using hydroblasting equipment is required

Valid Driver’s License is an asset

Comfortable working on surface and underground mining environments

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Fast-paced environment.

Salary: $25.00 per hour, 30 - 44 hours per week

Important Information. Flexibility on schedule is required since we operate 24/7. Regular schedule is from Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The schedule can vary according to the business needs. Work may include working on a rotation (7 days on 7 off). Shifts are 4hrs, 6hrs and 12hrs according to the needs. Overtime and work on holidays may be required. We guarantee at least 30 hour of work per week regardless of the weather.
