Business information: We endeavor to provide quality, friendly and reliable house and office cleaning services. The company was founded in 2002 in Ottawa and is now serving over 400 customers in Ottawa and the western GTA. We provide services for regular maintenance cleaning, move in/out and one time cleaning services such as spring cleaning, window washing, wall washing, inside stove/fridge and lots more.

Work Location: Same as above and various clients’ locations across the Ottawa Region.

Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Dust furniture

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets

Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Address customers' complaints or concerns

Stock other supplies' areas

Drive from one work location to another

Requirements:

Education: Not required.

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Driver’s license is required to drive to the clients’ locations.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods.

Personal Suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Team player.

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Language: Basic level of English is required.

Salary: $19.50 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Important Information: The worker will work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm., including one unpaid 30-minute lunch break and two paid 15-minute coffee breaks.
