Job Description:
Promote technical equipment sales to existing clients
Identify and solicit potential clients inside the food processing industry
Make contact and build rapport with all levels of people in the food industry
Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
Conduct sales and negotiate transactions
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of technical goods or services
Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services based on industry knowledge
Represent companies that export and import products or services from foreign countries
Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
Reach out to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of technical equipment
Provide customer service and consistent feedback to buyers, maintenance staff and technical team
Attend trade shows on behalf of our company
Requirements
Education: College diploma is required.
Experience: A minimum of five years of experience with specific technical food processing industry equipment is required.
Type of product: Industrial and technical machinery, parts, and supplies for the food processing industry.
A valid G-class driver’s license is required to travel to clients’ locations.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Salary: $37.62 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Important Information:
Flexibility is required. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional weekend, evening, or overtime work may be required, as well as occasional travel outside of the territory.
