Vermont Youth Conservation Corps
$16.75 - $16.75 per hour
Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) is seeking Pro Build Crew Members to work on Conservation Crews and make a difference in communities throughout Vermont. Pro Build Crew Members will work with their crew to complete carpentry and construction projects. With the support of VYCC's Build Projects Supervisor, the crew will work on the construction of an 800 square foot, high efficiency, 4-season, off grid, backcountry hut. This work will be completed in conjunction with the Vermont Huts Association.
Pro Crew Members gain technical skills to help them be competitive in their next adventures while building a new network of colleagues. A successful Pro Crew Member is able to work in challenging conditions, complete high-quality work, be a supportive member of their crew, and work well both independently and as a part of a small team. If you are excited to develop your technical skills, work alongside other conservation professionals, and have a positive impact in Vermont, this position is for you.
These positions will run from late May/early June through August or late May/early June through the beginning of October.
